Susan Cain: The power of introverts
Susan Cain talks eloquently about the power of introverts, about the importance of retreating to our own space from time to time for creative energy to flow. One of her interesting points was about how we used to value character and morality for most of our history, and the only recently started obsessing with qualities like extroversion and charisma as we moved from smaller towns to bigger cities and interact with many new people. Perhaps the real value lies in deep self-reflection, rather than constant frivolous superficial exchanges?
